Ida Osten

Ida Osten is a dancer and performer from Vienna, Austria. She is currently in her last year of studies in the Urban Contemporary Profile at Fontys Academy of the Arts in Tilburg, the Netherlands.

At Fontys she has worked with and learned from makers like Cecilia Moisio, Maciej Kuzminski, the Alleyne Sisters, Maria Sartzetaki and Alesya Dobysh. Ida has also done an internship with choreographer Katja Heitmann working together in Leeds (UK) and touring in the Netherlands.

Ida started dancing with a Salsa education next to Street and Club Styles like Hip Hop and House combined with Commercial work. Quickly she established an interest for Performance Art exploring, in which formats contemporary dance and theatre can be presented and expanded.
